Focus and Depth of Field (DOF) Andrew Marriott Challenging yourself and then practising is a good way to improve your photographic skills. Bring along your camera to this Challenge and learn new skills for getting the required focus/depth of field. It includes discussion and examples of Focus Bracketing! The presentation will give some background, some must-know things about your camera re focussing, some pointers to focus stacking programs, as well as giving an abundance of examples in the Flora, Fauna, etc genres, and the problems that go with getting the required focus/DOF for that genre. Focus Bracketing is not hard, you just need to practise and then it becomes second nature when looking at a scene. I can even do focus bracketing underwater now! The talk will also point you to several free PDF eBooks. Typical duration: 60-70 minutes.
